Hello Erisians!
The more authentic I become in my journey the more the right things show up in the right places. For the last year or so, I've been building community with a bunch of content marketers, and one of them, Rachel Cottam, asked me to talk to her about the goddess.
Rachel Cottam is a marketing leader based in Utah who's passionate about gender equality in the workplace and hosts the Allies at Work Podcast. I've never been asked before about Eris, a somewhat esoteric figure, as she applies to the workplace, along with astrology and allyship, and it was a delight to share some of my perspectives.
You can click below to watch the episode on YouTube or stream it on Spotify. It's a great one to send to people who are passionate about gender equality and the men in your life seeking to do better!
In the episode, we talk about:
- What does Eris represent for gender equality?
- What are some practical things that men can learn to be better allies in their workplaces and communities?
- What can women learn from Eris?
We'll continue keeping you posted on where Eris is at work, and we've got some new material coming that doesn't explicitly teach Eris as an archetype, but has Eris written all over it. Enjoy the episode!
Hail Eris,
Rayner
P.S. I hope you're enjoying the Woman Warrior masterclass. What have you learned so far and what questions remain as you dive deep into the archetype of Eris, the warrior-activist goddess?
